Hibernian FC Women have confirmed the signing of defender Jess Broadrick on a two-year deal, subject to SFA approval.

The 22-year-old becomes Joelle Murray’s third summer signing and joins the Club until Summer 2028 following the expiration of her contract with Aberdeen.

An Aberdeen academy graduate, the experienced defender has spent the majority of her career in the Granite City and recently surpassed 150 appearances in all competitions for the Reds.

Now, the Scotland youth international has chosen to make the move to Leith ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Broadrick will wear number 14 jersey.

After joining the Club, Broadrick said: “Hibs is a great Club, with a lot of history, and the players have a tenacious attitude about them. They always want to win. Being alongside some of those players will help me improve as a person, and that’s what I want to do.

“I want to make sure that I can be the best defender I can, developing in those areas that I’m maybe needing to improve on as a young player, but also ensuring that I can give something to this Hibs side going into the season ahead.”

Hibs Women Head Coach Joelle Murray commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Jess Broadrick to the Club. As we looked to strengthen our squad, adding quality and depth in central defence was identified as a position of importance, and Jess’ profile matched exactly what we were looking for.

“Jess is a young player with a lot of excellent attributes. We believe she’s someone who still has plenty of potential to unlock, and we’re excited to work with her. In our environment, we’re confident we can help nurture her qualities, support her development, and give her the platform to continue growing as a player.

“We’re looking forward to seeing Jess settle into the group and are excited about what she can bring to the team as we continue building for the season ahead.”
