It’s taken some time but Laurent Mendy is now a Jambo after putting pen to paper with the Gorgie club.
The French-born midfielder joins from Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee and the 29-year-old has been influential for the National League side.
He captained them to last season’s play-offs and he is said to be tall and physical.
Mendy can slot in at centre-half but he can also be an extra midfielder.
