Prolific Hearts author Alastair Stupart is preparing a FIFTH book chronicling the goings on at the football club he has supported since boyhood.
Latest subject due out next year will cover the more than a dozen coaches and managers that Hearts had under the eight years of leadership of Vladimir Romanov.
The working title is “Vlad’s Men. The Hearts’ managers whose served under Romanov” from the undefeated George Burley through to Scottish Cup Winner Valdas Ivanauskas.
It is a chance to read all about the revolving door to the Tynecastle manager’s office during a turbulent period in the club’s history.
Meanwhile Alastair is about to re-release “Playing Football the Gorgie Way” which covers Hearts run of 22 unbeaten derbies from 1989-94 and will be available from [email protected], The Diggers, Polwarth Tavern and Hearts club shop later this summer.
Once again all profits will go to the Foundation of Hearts which was set up in 2010 with fans contributing to the club’s well-being and has so far raised over £20 million.
