A person was found dead on Mountjoy Terrace in Musselburgh around 7.05am this morning Monday, June 29.
Emergency services were called to the scene following a report of concern for a person.
On arrival, the person was found to be deceased.
The scene was cordoned off to facilitate the investigation.
Police Scotland said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.05am on Monday, 29 June, 2026, police received a report of concern for a person in Mountjoy Terrace, Musselburgh.
“Emergency services attended and a person was found deceased. There are no suspicious circumstances.”
