Scott Arfield has left Livingston at the end of his contract after joining The Lions midway through last season following a spell at Falkirk.
The former Rangers player also stepped into the role of interim manager for the final three matches of the campaign and the club said he showed great professionalism, leadership and commitment during a difficult period.
Meanwhile, Grant Murray will remain at Livingston as first-team coach, joining Glenn Whelan’s backroom team ahead of the new season.
A club spokesman said Murray brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and continuity.
