The annual Dunbar Rugby Club’s minis tournament, sponsored by Taylor Wimpey East
Scotland, brought success for the hosts in two of the five age-groups.
The event, held at Hallhill Sports Ground, involved around 450 primary
school children from Berwick, North Berwick, Duns, Gifford Goblins, Haddington, and GHA (Glasgow).
After playing qualifying rounds, semi-finals, and finals, the winning results were: Primary 3 –
Dunbar; Primary 4 – Dunbar; Primary 5 – North Berwick; Primary 6 – Haddington; Primary 7 – North Berwick.

“It was also brilliant to see the Dunbar Minis tournament has continued its support of attracting mixed
teams to the event, and we are naturally delighted to see the local teams from Dunbar Rugby Club doing so
well at their home ground. We enjoyed being involved in another fun day out for families, and we were
delighted to see so many members of the local community enjoying the opportunity to support the children
playing.”
