Scotland’s send-off before heading to the World Cup ended in a 4-1 victory over 10-man Curacao at Hampden Park yesterday.
Steve Clarke made several changes to the side following the 1-0 defeat to Côte D’Ivoire at Hill Dickinson Stadium in March.
Hearts keeper Craig Gordon, Aaron Hickey, Scott McKenna, Ben Gannon-Doak, Kenny McLean and Lawrence Shankland all started, with Liam Kelly, Dominic Hyam, Kieran Tierney, Scott McTominay, Ross McRorie and Ché Adams dropping out.
John McGinn, Scott McTominay, Che Adams, Lewis Ferguson, Kieran Tierney and Ross Stewart missed out following late conclusions to their seasons at club level.
Having trained with the squad this week in camp, Luke Graham, Tyler Fletcher and James Wilson were named amongst the substitutes, with Graham and Fletcher in line for their Scotland debuts. Scott McKenna won his 50th Scotland cap with a start.
Cuaacao took the lead with a superb goal from Tahith Chong but were reduced to 10 men after striker Jurgen Locadia caught Aaron Hickey with his forearm.
Finlay Curtis, introduced moments earlier for the injured Billy Gilmour, grabbed an equaliser just before half-time with his first international goal.
Tyler Fletcher – son of former Manchester United and Scotland midfielder Darren – came on for his debut after the break, and former Hearts striker Shankland struck twice.
Ryan Christie scored from the penalty spot late on to wrap up the win after Curtis was brought down in the penalty area.
The Scotland squad fly to the United States on Sunday before their final friendly match against Bolivia in New Jersey on Sunday, 7 June.
They face Haiti in their World Cup opener in Boston a week later.
