Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a housebreaking West Lothian.
The incident happened around 2.15pm on Thursday, 23 April, 2026, at a property in Rendall Gardens, Broxburn.
Entry was gained and a number of items were stolen from within, with an approximate value of around £25,000.
Following enquiries, it’s understood the suspects were travelling in a silver Audi.
They were seen on the same day by a fisherman throwing items over a bridge into the River Almond on Lochend Road, near to New Liston Road, Kirkliston. This was seen by members of the public below the bridge who tried to recover the items.
Detective Constable Lee Manderson said: “The stolen property was of sentimental value to the victims of this theft and our enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.
“We are keen to hear from anyone with information who hasn’t already spoken to police, in particular the man who was fishing at the River Almond who may have seen the suspects, or anyone who knows of their movements.
“In addition, anyone with relevant CCTV or dash-cam footage from around this time is asked to get in touch.”
