Police are appealing for help to trace Kayla Reid, 13, who has been reported missing from East Lothian.
Kayla was last seen in the North Berwick area around 2pm on Tuesday, 31 March, 2026. She was last in contact with family around 9.50pm but has not been heard from since.
It’s thought Kayla may be with another girl and the pair could have travelled to the Grangemouth or Glasgow areas.
She is described as 5ft 3in, of slim build, with long brown hair. When Kayla was last seen she was wearing black leggings, black hoodie and beige Addidas trainers. She may also have a black North Face jacket with her.
Sergeant Mike Brown said: “We’re carrying out a number of enquiries to try to trace Kayla to ensure she’s safe and well.
“I’m asking for the public’s help: Do you think you’ve seen Kayla since yesterday afternoon? Do you know Kayla and have any information about where she may be? If you do, please come forward.
“Kayla, if you see this appeal, please contact police so we can make sure you’re okay.”
