Clare Woods RA has unveiled two new tapestries at Dovecot Studios, created in collaboration with the weavers at the world-renowned tapestry studio in Edinburgh.
Spring has sprung in Edinburgh and the season’s palette is all around at Dovecot, from bright yarns in the studio to floral garments in the gallery.
Woods is also a part of the Earth Matters exhibition at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh which marks 300 years since the birth of James Hutton, the Edinburgh-born geologist, farmer and thinker who revolutionised the understanding of Earth’s creation and the ground beneath.
