Police have arrested and charged a 45-year-old woman following the recovery of drugs in West Lothian with an estimated street value of £16,000.
Around 1.50pm on Wednesday, 18 February, 2026, officers acting on intelligence searched a vehicle parked on Blackburn Road.
The recovery included heroin and cocaine, with an estimated street value of £16,000, and a four-figure sum of cash.
The woman was arrested and charged in connection, and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Inspector John Irvine said: “This recovery highlights our commitment to tackling the supply of dangerous and illegal drugs in our local communities.
“Drugs cause nothing but misery, and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to bring those involved in their supply to justice.
