After a successful revamp in 2025, the Edinburgh Curling Club’s Cousin Trophy was once again played as a two day, four game Bonspiel with Team Keron coming out on top over Team Aitken in the A final to retain the silverware.
Six teams took part this year in an initial group stage where each played three games. The teams were then ranked 1-6 and the top pair played in the A final for the Cousin Trophy.
Other teams ranked 3 and 4 played in a B final, and the teams ranked 5 and 6 played in a C final.
The competition, on Saturday night, was followed by a dinner with players staying on to watch Bruce Mouat’s rink claim an Olympic silver medal.
