Detectives are appealing for information following a housebreaking in Bonnyrigg on Monday, 23 February, 2026.
The property on Longmuir Place was broken into around 10pm.
A Santa Cruz Vala electric mountain bike, valued at around £7,500 was taken.
Detective Inspector Keith Sinclair said: “The two men responsible were seen making off from Longmuir Place on a small black electric off-road motorbike. One of the men was carrying the stolen e-bike.
“Our enquiries are ongoing and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.
“Please check any private CCTV covering the area to see if something has been captured that could assist our investigation. If you were driving in the area around the time of the housebreaking, please also look over any dash-cam to see if it holds anything which could assist us.
“If you witnessed a small electric motorbike being driven in the Bonnyrigg area on Monday night, please contact us.
