Police are seeking the public’s assistance to trace a man reported missing from Edinburgh.
Gary Hill, 56, was last seen leaving the Asda superstore in the Chesser area around 4.30am on Monday, 9 February, 2026. He left in his white Volkswagen Transporter, with the registration YC52UYO.
Mr Hill is described as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build with a shaved head. He has a grey beard, a black nose ring and tattoos on his upper arms which include a bulldog with boxing gloves and an England flag.
He is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a navy sweatshirt, a beige full-zip knitted jumper, a green parka jacket and black Dr Martens boots.
He may have travelled to the East Lothian area and officers believe he may be sleeping in his vehicle.
Anyone who has seen Gary, or has information to trace his current whereabouts, should contact Police Scotland via 101 and quote incident number 1073 of 10 February 2026.
