A Midlothian road has been closed by police after a two-vehicle crash earlier this morning Thursday 5 February 2026.
The incident took place around 7.15am on the B6372 at Newlandrig near Gorebridge.
Emergency services are in attendance at the scene.
Drivers have been urged to “avoid the area”.
A police spokesperson said: “The B6372 is closed at Newlandrig near Gorebridge following a two-vehicle crash reported to police around 7.15am on Thursday, 5 February.
“Emergency services are in attendance and road users are advised to avoid the area.”
