The jumble sale to be held in Cramond Halls later this month will raise funds for a Saturday School for Ukrainian youngsters, local charity Fresh Start, and Edinburgh Northwest Kirk.

The sale will take place on 28 February from 11am-1pm and will have all the traditional stalls and refreshments: adult and children’s clothing, bags and shoes, books, vinyl and CDs, bric-a-brac, soft furnishings, toys & games, home baking.

The Ukrainian St Margaret’s Saturday School meets weekly in city centre church halls.  It has a roll of 40 children who are developing English language and social skills, against a background of Ukrainian traditions, art and craft.

A spokesperson for the organisers said: “Do come along to Cramond Halls, Cramond Glebe Road, and bag some bargains!”
