Tickets are now on sale for Soundhouse concerts at Traverse Theatre on Cambridge Street which begin on 1 February with The Foghorn Stringband.
A spokesperson for Soundhouse said: “After a barnstorming performance at Edinburgh Tradfest in May 23, we’re delighted to welcome back The Foghorn Stringband.
“These four players are the present day gold standard for real-deal hard-hitting genuine old-time American string band music, with nine albums, thousands of shows, over 15 years of touring under their belts, and an entirely new generation of roots musicians following their lead.”
Soundhouse is a producer of live music events in Edinburgh connecting musicians with audiences. They prefer “great venues with good sight lines and fine acoustics”. The charity is funded partly by Creative Scotland and The William Grant Foundation. They present the Soundhouse Winter Festival in November and Edinburgh Tradfest in May.
