The Scottish Football Association have been contacted by Livingston over an alleged racial comment made to striker Jeremy Bokila during their 6-2 defeat at Aberdeen on Saturday.
The 37-year-old Congolese international was said to be in tears in the dressing-room at Pittodrie after being shown the red card along with an Aberdeen player during the second-half.
David Martindale (pictured), Livingston’s manager, believes that the player has been in talks with club officials at The Home of the Set Fare Arena.
Aberdeen said on Saturday in a statement on their website that the club were aware of the allegation.
The statement added: “The player concerned has been informed of the allegation and vehemently denies it.”
