The council’s Edintravel team publishes news of roadworks and street closures each week.
The measures listed include diversions for traffic in Edinburgh due to utility providers dealing with emergency or planned works, as well as any resurfacing which is to be undertaken.
- There are ongoing works outside the Blood Donor Centre on Lauriston Place where a gully has collapsed. The citybound lane is closed.
- Frederick Street will be closed on Sunday to allow Virgin Media to make “chamber repairs” This may result in diversions on some bus routes. Check here.
- The council will inspect a footbridge on Lanark Road on 22 January at Redhall Bank Road leading to temporary traffic lights and the cycle lane will be closed one side at a time.
- Learmonth Terrace will be closed until 25 January for works by Scottish Water
