The Livingston v St Mirren clash in the William Hill Premiership, scheduled for Tuesday at 19.45 at The Home of the Set Fare Arena, is under threat due to the current cold snap.

An inspection will be held at 10.30am on Tuesday and a decision made.

The league bottom-markers have lost their last four games and have not won since August 9, but BBC Sport Scotland indicate that the West Lothian side are unbeaten in their last four home league games with the Paisley side who recently beat Celtic to win the Premier Sports Cup.

Stephen Robinson’s men are third bottom of the 12-strong table and have not won in three league games.

The sides last met at Paisley on December 20 when Mikael Mandron scored the only goal after 72 minutes to keep the points in the West of Scotland.

Incidentally, Robinson has been linked with the vacant Aberdeen job after Swedish-manager, Jimmy Thelin, was sacked on Sunday, but the Northern Irishman said his concentration is on the trip to Livingston.

Meanwhile, Premiership strugglers West Ham United – they are No 18 in the 20-strong table – have recalled defender Junior Robinson, the 21-year-old returning to London having joined The Lions on loan during the summer.

David Martindale, Livingston’s manager, revealed he talked to West Ham last month as they were looking to recall him due to his lack of playing time.

He added: “I was keen to keep him for the rest of the season as I felt he would have played more.

“It is only fair that we agree to let junior return to West Ham to potentially get back out on loan somewhere else. He is a young player with a lot of potential.”
