Craig Gordon will celebrate his career at a gala dinner later this year and the date for your diary is Sunday, March 1. The venue is The Gorgie Suite at Tynecastle Park (7pm).
Individual tickets and tables of ten are available for the event which will feature one of the greatest players to represent the club and Scotland.
A drinks reception will be followed by a three-course meal, entertainment and live music. There will also be an auction and raffle.
The goalkeeper has not made a league appearance for the club this season due to the consistent performances of German-born hot-stop Alexander Schwolow.
However, the 43-year-old has played twice for Scotland, against Greece and Denmark, and he has revealed that Derek McInnes, the head coach of Hearts, and Steve Clarke, Scotland’s manager, both wanted him to continue.
Gordon is hoping to claim a place in Scotland’s World Cup squad this summer and the goalkeeper’s CV goes back to 2000 when he joined the squad at Tynecastle Park.
The former Balerno High School pupil has also played for Celtic and English side Sunderland and spent a short spell at Cowdenbeath.
