Operation Portaledge detectives have arrested and charged a 31-year-old man in connection with a number of fireraisings in Edinburgh,
This brings the total number of arrests to 63 so far.
The man was arrested and charged in connection with fireraisings on Niddrie Marischal Crescent, Pitcairn Grove and Prestonfield Crescent, that took place on Thursday, 17 April, 2025.
Police say that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today Wednesday, 24 December, 2025.
