The first Christmas baby born at The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh arrived at 2am.

Parents Hannah and Jack Bowers-Orso had a safe delivery of their wee boy weighing 6lb 4oz who was a couple of weeks early, as yet does not have a name. He is the second baby born on Christmas Day in Scotland where the first was also a boy born at 1.37am.

And at 2.31am, Hannah Quinn and Kerr Smith also from Edinburgh welcomed their baby at St John’s Hospital in Livingston.
