Salle Holyrood is holding an open day on Sunday for anyone aged 8+ to find out more about joining a fencing club in the capital.
On Sunday 14 December between 1.30pm and 4pm the club is throwing open its doors to allow anyone try fencing at taster sessions, or watch as some international fencers take part in demo sessions. Sign up for a taster session online.
The coaching team includes British national team coaches and fencers. Club nights allow anyone to train alongside and spar with current and former members of the national teams at all levels.
The club was established 14 years ago to coach fencers for competition, and also as a way of encouraging a sport which improves confidence and physical activity. Accredited by Scottish Fencing this is a club which prides itself on its achievements with fencers of all ages, and has been designated a Swordmark Superclub by Scottish Fencing.
