Cricket Scotland have extended a partnership with Heriot-Watt University Dubai.
The deal will include sponsorship of Scotland Women on their 2025-2026 winter tours of Thailand and Nepal.
Heriot-Watt University Dubai will become Scotland’s shirt sponsor for the inaugural ICC Emerging Nations Trophy in Thailand and for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier in January 2026 in Nepal.
The partnership between Cricket Scotland and Heriot-Watt University began in October 2024, when Scotland Women played for the first time at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in the UAE, and continued with support for the Scotland U19 Women squad at the ICC U19 Women’s World Cup in 2025.
Claire Drummond, Cricket Scotland Commercial Manager, said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Heriot-Watt University Dubai. Their initial involvement in 2024 was a groundbreaking moment for Cricket Scotland as the first direct partnership agreement with the Scotland Women’s squad.”

Dubai campus
His Majesty King Charles III opened the new Dubai campus of Heriot-Watt University in November 2023. At that point the new campus had 5,000 students enrolled from 115 nationalities.
The King, accompanied by the UK’s Foreign Secretary, Lord Cameron, and then First Minister Humza Yousaf carried out the formalities.
