If you are looking for a really personal present local artist, Craig Seaton Bell, SSA, (known as Craigo) may have the answer.

Bell takes inspiration from Edinburgh’s streets, and there are many prints of the loveliest of New Town views as well as Edinburgh sunsets.
These paintings should tempt anyone who knows Edinburgh either as a permanent resident or fleeting visitor. If Italy is one of your loves then Bell is also inspired by his travels abroad. He has painted many of the landscapes he has seen there.

Art classes
For a Christmas experience then try an art class with Craigo and five of your closest friends.
This can either be at a venue to be arranged or ask Craigo about going round to his place where everyone will leave with a 15cm x 15cm painting of their own.
This is intended for everyone from beginners to those who can already paint. Whoever is organising the party can pick the subject or Craigo will come up with some suggestions.
The cost is from £32.50 per person, depending on numbers. All materials for the two hour long session are included. Home made brunch can also be arranged for classes or sip and paint with cheese, wine and home made oatcakes.
One to one lessons are available in Craigo’s Stockbridge flat or from the comfort of your own home from £45 per hour.
Craigo fell in love with Edinburgh after studying at the Cumbria Institute of the Arts. He worked initially in the south of Scotland and north of England before settling here.
