Were you on the London to Edinburgh train last Sunday afternoon?

And if so did you see anything suspicious?

British Transport Police officers are investigating a theft of a bag containing £60,000 of valuable jewellery from a train.

At around 4.15pm on Sunday 21 December, shortly after a train from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh arrived into York, two men stole the bag from the overhead storage before leaving the station.

Officers would like to speak to the men pictured, as they believe they may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 396 of 21 December.
