Scotland record biggest win in Murrayfield’s 100-year history

Scotland recorded their biggest win in Murrayfield’s 100-year history in a one-sided autumn Test against the USA on Saturday.

Duhan Van der Merwe scored two tries on his 50th cap as Scotland ran riot with Darcy Graham and Jamie Dobie both scoring hat-tricks. 

Dylan Richardson started the scoring by crashing over after five minutes and Van der Merwe, Graham and Dobie all crossed twice to make the half time score 45-0 in favour of the hosts. 

Graham, Van der Merwe, Dobie, Kyle Rowe, Stafford McDowall, George Horne, and Ollie Smith also scored in the second half to give Gregort Townsend’s men  an 85-point winning margin. 

Next weekend New Zealand come to Edinburgh, with Scotland desperate to secure a first win against the All Blacks.
