Police have arrested a 30-year-old man following a disturbance which resulted in another man being taken to hospital for treatment.
The disturbance took place on Sunday morning on London Road in Edinburgh.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 8.40am.
Police said that one man had been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment. His condition is not known.
The man who was arrested is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today Monday 17 November 2025.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Sunday, 16 November, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance on London Road, Edinburgh.
“One man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“A 30-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 17 November, 2025.”
