Berwick Bandits have resigned Danish rider Peter Kildemand on an 8.05 average after a 2025 season which saw the two-time Grand Prix winner return to British speedway after an eight-year gap.
Kildemand ended the campaign in red-hot form, his first paid maximum in Berwick colours spearheading their closing day win at Workington Comets.
The 36-year-old also raced for Oxford in the Premiership in 2025 and Stewart Dickson, Bandits’ team manager, said: “Peter was a very popular and effective signing last year and we are delighted to have his name on a 2026 contract.
“In addition to his on-track performances, Peter was also a big character in the pits, putting his experience at the top level to good use.”
Edinburgh Monarchs have resigned 16-year-old Aussie rider Jordy Loftus who joined the club half way through last season.
And 21-year-old Dan Thompson will be the club’s new No 1 having raced for Glasgow Tigers last season, helping the West of Scotland club to the Cab Direct Championship Grand Final.
