Derek McInnes is the Glen’s Premiership Manager of the Month for the third straight month following similar awards in August and September.
And the head coach was quick to thank his team for their efforts.
McInnes said: “Any award, be it individually or collectively, is great for the club.
“It’s reflective of the hard work that everybody puts in.”
He added: “We’ve had a brilliant round of fixtures and now the focus is on the next round and trying to keep progressing.”
Hearts are next on duty when Dundee United visit on Sunday (15.00) in the William Hill Premiereship.
Meanwhile, skipper Lawrence Shankland, called-up for Scotland duty in the World Cup qualifiers against Greece and Denmark, looked at the league table and declared: “I don’t think anybody could really have anticipated the start that we’ve had.
“You need to enjoy these moments. Everybody is in a good place and the positivity around the club at the moment is really good.”
The striker, who has netted ten goals so far this term, told Hearts TV: “There are a lot of difficult fixtures coming up and we’ll need to be on form and keep improving.”
