Kenneth Vargas has returned to Costa Rica on a short-term loan move, Heart of Midlothian have confirmed.
The switch is subject to Scottish Football Association approval and international clearance and the 23-year-old forward will join CS Herediano until January 2026.
Meanwhile, Hearts will host Celtic in the William Hill Premiership at Tynecastle on Sunday, October 26 (noon).
The match will be shown live on Sky Sports and to Hearts TV international subscribers.
