There are just three more Sundays left this year when rowing boats on the Union Canal will be available for hire – 14, 21 and 28 September.
Traditional rowing boats available for hire from the towpath at Ashley Terrace Bridge (accessible from Ogilvie Terrace, EH11 1NP) between 12 noon and 5pm.
The cost is £15 for 50 minutes; max 5 persons per boat.
The Edinburgh Union Canal Society is raising money to help fund the restoration of the boathouse which is no longer safe for public use. Hires are bookable in advance or just go along on the day.
