Pierre Landry Kabore has scored 22 goals in 20 games for top Estonian side, J K Narva Trans, and now he’s a Jambo.
The protracted talks to sign the 24-year-old have ended with the Burkina Faso international securing a three-year deal at Gorgie.
The fee has not been disclosed, but Derek McInnes (pictured in training by Nigel Duncan), Hearts’ head coach, believes that he has captured a man who can add “something different” to the Men in Maroon.
McInnes told the club’s website: “It has obviously taken a bit longer than we would have liked to get Landry in, but he’s here now.
“His stats over the past couple of seasons speak for themseves, so we’re hoping he’ll bring something a bit different to what we’ve currently got in our forward areas.
“He’s a big, mobile guy and very adaptable in that he can play across the front.”
McInnes admitted that Scotland will be a new culture for the player and he added: “We’ll show patience in getting him up to speed, but he’s shown he can integrate quickly and we’ll do everything we can to make Landry a success at Hearts.”
