Police in East Lothian are appealing for witnesses after a quantity of high and low voltage copper cable was stolen from Crystal Rig Wind Farm, Innerwick.
The theft took place between 7pm on Friday, 4 July, and 5am on Saturday, 5 July.
The value of the cable stolen is somewhere in the region of £50,000.
Due to the size and excessive weight of the stolen cable it is believed several HGVs and people would have been required to remove the cable.
Enquiries are at an early stage, however if you saw anything unusual in or around the area at the relevant time, please contact Police Scotland quoting Incident Number 1117 of 05/07/2025.
