Jas Bruce, the former Hillend ski instructor who now plays his trade in the French resort of Val d’Isère, has surpassed his fund raising target for the charity, Disability Snowsport UK, after a successful London Marathon run.

In what was his fourth marathon but the first in London Jas, 37, completed the course in 3hrs, 43:41 seconds.

A more important statistic was the £2,360 raised so far against a target figure of £2,000.
