Easy Living Homes launched its Castle Gait development in East Wemyss in early 2022, during challenging market conditions, but the firm says it has continued to buck the trend.

The ‘local’ Glenrothes based independent housebuilder has sold well, and the firm says it has been mainly through word-of-mouth recommendations at Castle Gait and its other recent developments, including the Forth Park Residences development in Kirkcaldy, which has now sold out.

Eighty out of the one hundred properties being constructed at Castle Gait which unusually include nine styles of sought after bungalow are now sold.

Known for a wider choice of designs than other larger builders, Easy Living Homes has offered fourteen different types of properties at Castle Gait.

The Fern Prestige (£425,000) is the same housetype, but with a double garage. It has the added bonus of a gated garden and driveway accessed from a private road which will serve only five properties on the southern boundary of the development.

The Ross is a spacious five-bedroom detached bungalow complete with a double integrated garage, priced at £549,000. These properties are also located on the private road to the south of the development, and gardens will be fully fenced and gated.
