Edinburgh Trams have a range of family and group ticket deals this Easter.

The Family Day Tripper ticket is £8 and covers unlimited travel for up to two adults and three children between Ingliston Park & Ride and Newhaven.

This and other multi-day tickets and flexible options can be purchased in advance. Either print the tickets out or download onto a smart phone for checking by the tram team on board.

Nicola Mearns, the operator’s Assistant Marketing Manager, commented: “As well as allowing easy and inexpensive travel across the city and beyond, this ticket option also offers value-for-money discounts from some of our partners, including Johnnie Walker Princes Street, Hard Rock Café, Camera Obscura & World of Illusions, among others.

“To avoid being stuck in a traffic jam, those driving into Edinburgh can leave their cars at Ingliston Park & Ride, which has over 1,000 free parking spaces available and is just off the A8/Airport junction, before completing their journey by tram.”

Over the Easter weekend  trams are expected to run to their usual timetable, and further details of timings can be found here.
