Fairfield Hearing Welcomes Husband and Wife Duo to Foster Their Family-Centric Approach to Hearing Healthcare

Fairfield Hearing, a leading name in the audiology and hearing healthcare sector in Edinburgh, proudly announces the expansion of its dedicated team with the addition of a dynamic husband and wife duo. The company, known for its commitment to providing personalised hearing healthcare and hearing aid solutions, welcomes Glen and Jayne Caffley to the Fairfield family.

As a family-owned and operated business, Fairfield Hearing has always prioritised the importance of familial connections, both within the team and with their valued clients. The decision to bring on board Glen and Jayne aligns seamlessly with the company’s ethos of fostering a family-centric approach to hearing healthcare.

Glen and Jayne, with their combined expertise and passion for improving the lives of individuals with hearing challenges, bring a wealth of knowledge to Fairfield Hearing. Their commitment to excellence and shared values with the Fairfield Hearing philosophy make them an ideal fit for the company’s mission.

Glen and Jayne met at De Montfort University in Leicester, where they were both studying Audiology.

Their careers have followed similar paths, with both working for national high street brands and local independent hearing aid dispensers. Jayne has also been involved with dispensing hearing aids through the Age UK charity, and Glen has spent some time working for a leading hearing aid manufacturer.

Glen has been deaf since birth, which went undiagnosed for over three years. Since then, he has been wearing a hearing aid, so he can empathise with clients, that can feel extremely anxious about their hearing loss and the prospect of wearing a hearing aid.

Despite very similar and careers, this is the first time Glen and Jayne have worked for the same company. When asked why they joined Fairfield Hearing, the couple both responded with the same one-word answer, ā€œStephenā€.

ā€œWe share very similar values with Stephen,ā€ explains Jayne. ā€œWe love the way he treats his clients ā€“ with care and compassion, and not like the next sale on a conveyor belt.ā€

Glen and Jayne join brother and sister team, Stephen Fairfield and Ruth Porteous at the Fairfield Hearing clinic in Stafford Street, in the heart of Edinburgh.

“We are thrilled to welcome Glen and Jayne to our growing Fairfield family. Their dedication to the field of audiology and their shared commitment to providing high quality client care align perfectly with our values. As a family firm, we believe in the power of strong relationships, and we are confident that their addition will enhance our ability to serve our community even better,” said Stephen Fairfield, Managing Director of Fairfield Hearing.

Outside of work Glen has discovered a new passion for cabinet making and Jayne loves upcycling old furniture and dolls houses with their 10-year-old daughter Ava.

With this expansion, Fairfield Hearing aims to further strengthen its position as a trusted provider ofĀ hearing healthcare in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The addition of Glen and Jayne reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in audiology and ensuring that clients receive the highest standards in personal care.
