Police are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking to a property in Linlithgow which took place sometime between 2pm on Saturday, 7 November, and 2pm on Sunday, 8 November.

Entry was forced to a property on Beechwood and a quantity of jewellery was stolen.

Constable Brett Martin, of West Calder CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are underway and I am seeking help from local residents who may have seen any suspicious activity at the address over the weekend.

“In particular, anyone who has seen any suspicious individuals or vehicles in the vicinity of the address between Saturday and Sunday is urged to contact police.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1907 of 8 November or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
