In addition, promising youngster Sam Newman has signed a new contract with the club though to the end of the season.

A key member of the club’s incredibly successful under 20s side last season, Newman has already tasted first team action as one of numerous teenagers given their opportunity.

Manager James McDonaugh was delighted to confirm the deals, commenting “It’s great news for the club to be able to secure the services of Calum for another year; he is an integral member of the squad and will be a vital part of our push for promotion this season and beyond.”

“It’s a great indictment of the Club to have Blair joining Callum Crane in committing to 2022. He is another key member of the squad and will join in the promotion push once the season gets under way.

”Sam Newman has been the pick of the bunch at under 20s level and deserves his contract with the first team, which proves that the opportunity will be there for the young players at the club, if they are good enough.”
