A police investigation is underway after a collision between a van and a lorry which resulted in one man being taken to hospital.

The crash took place shortly before 7am this morning in Carnegie Road, Livingston.

Emergency services attended the scene and police have closed the road to allow for officer to investigate the cause.

A force spokesperson said: “Police Scotland was made aware of a road crash involving a van and a lorry on Carnegie Road in Livingston shortly before 7am on Tuesday.

“One man has been taken to hospital and the road remains closed.”
