Hibs pre-season fitness programme continued with a 0-0 draw against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park yesterday.

There was good news for Head Coach Jack Ross as Scotland under-21 international Ryan Porteous played the entire game for the first time since he suffered a serious knee injury in January.

New signings Kevin Nisbet, Alex Gogic both played the second half along with Drey Wright who is no stranger to Perth having played for the Saints for the previous two years.

Young striker Jamie Gullan who scored in a bounce game against St Mirren on Saturday also played the full 90-minutes.

Academy youngsters Josh Doig who was recently compared to Andy Robertson for his performances on-loan to Queens Park last season and Innes Murray both started the game.

Hibs face Ross County on Saturday at the club’s training centre at East Mains.

Ross is keen to fix up at least one more bounce game ahead of the season’s kick-off against Kilmarnock at Easter Road on Saturday 1st August and Brian Rice at Hamilton Academical has expressed an interest.
