The Secret Cabaret comes to Edinburgh on Sunday 15 March 2020 at Dirty Martini Bar, Le Monde, George Street at 6.00pm

What is The Secret Cabaret?

It is the combination of an intimate evening of song in the relaxed informal atmosphere of The Dirty Martini Bar.

The concept was born in Bristol in 2017 and will be launched by Angus Blance here in Edinburgh following great success over three years at the Piano Bar at the Bristol Hippodrome.

It provides an opportunity to hear some new and classic show tunes. Not only does it highlight local talent, but each month a different charity benefits from all profits at the event. So far, this has included Waverley Care, Alzheimer Scotland and Social Bite.

Future events will be staged to benefit The MGA Foundation, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home and Breast Cancer Awareness.

The creative team behind the show are Angus Blance (Producer), Steven Segaud (Musical Director), and Louise Sables (Creative Director).

Ssh it’s a Secret!

Angus Blance studied drama in London, and although his career took him in a very different direction, this allowed him the opportunity to produce not only The Secret Cabaret, but productions of ‘Side by Side by Sondheim’, ‘The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee’ and a concert version of ‘Aspects of Love’ in London and Bristol.

Steven Segaud is a music graduate from Edinburgh who combines his musical talents between teaching, performing and as Musical Director for many local theatre companies.

Louise Sables is originally from New Zealand but now working in Edinburgh. Again with a great love of theatre she has directed many local theatre companies.

This sparkling combination of talent and experience brings the intimacy of cabaret to Edinburgh with performances on 15 March and 17 May 2020.
