Hibs.net now boasts 14,000 registered members – from as far afield as Australia, Brazil and the UAE and has helped boost the club coffers – with their annual donations now totalling a staggering £110,000.

It is run entirely by volunteers and is an important touchpoint for Hibs’ fans worldwide.

Moderators Matty Fairnie and Stuart McClelland met with Sporting Director Graeme Mathie prior to Friday’s William Hill Scottish Cup win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Graeme said: “The generosity of Hibernian supporters never ceases to amaze me, and the guys from Hibs.net have always been so supportive of what we’re trying to do.

“This donation will be put to good use by Jack and the first team.

“George Craig has always welcomed the group from Hibs.net to HTC to see what’s being done with their contributions and I look forward to continuing that tradition in the near future.

“In a week where Ron Gordon talked about us all pulling together for a common goal, it’s heartening to be able to draw on this kind of support and I’d like to thank them on behalf of everyone at Easter Road and HTC.”
