Edinburgh legal firm Gillespie Macandrew has welcomed the Edinburgh-based Clyde & Co private client team after negotiating a transfer agreement.

Led by Partner Nikki Dundas, the Clyde & Co team comprises two Associates, Judith Clark and Doran Mitchell, Executry manager, Susan Baxter and PA, Donna Galloway.

The team of five bolsters Gillespie Macandrew’s existing private client practice, which claims a leading position in the sector.  The team is now the largest in the Atholl Crescent company and provides specialist private client services to individuals and their families.

CEO Robert Graham-Campbell said: “We are pleased to welcome this highly respected team to our leading private client group. We are committed to continually strengthening our private client and tax legal offering, also demonstrated by the promotion of Lianne Lodge to Partner earlier this year, and the appointments of Solicitors Gillian Wilson and Fariha Haque to the team.

“The transfer underpins our commitment to the sector as advisers on private client, trust, tax and succession planning.”

Nikki Dundas who was formerly a partner at Bonar Mackenzie said: “Gillespie Macandrew is a great fit for our clients.  They are leading advisors in the private client sector and we are looking forward to working within an experienced team of specialists.”
