The Jolly Judge of Edinburgh’s historic Royal Mile is one of the top cider pubs in Britain according to members of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

They have shared their recommendations as part of a Summer of Pub campaign.

Judges said the Jolly Judge, voted CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2018, was a welcome spot for refreshments. It sells a varying selection of four APPLE certified ciders.

Ben Wilkinson, CAMRA’s national director said: “Great pubs don’t just serve great ales.

“Real cider is an important offering for those who prefer something a bit different and a world away from the mass-produced ciders that are commonplace.”
