Hearts manager Craig Levein has been given a two-game touchline ban following a hearing by the SFA’s judicial panel at Hampden today.

He will serve an immediate one-game ban which takes effect for Hearts William Hill Scottish Cup tie with Livingston at Tynecastle on 20th January. The ban for the second game is suspended until December 31st, 2019.

Levein criticised referee Bobby Madden following Hearts 2-1 defeat by Rangers at Tynecastle in December, saying the official’s performance had been ‘abysmal’ and said, ‘it had been like playing against 12 men’.
