Action from Murrayfield from Ian Coyle

Dundee Stars slipped out of contention for a play-off place on Sunday and within hours they had agreed a three-year deal with player/coach and general manager Omar Pacha.

The former Hull Stingrays and Manchester Storm playcaller said: “I’m really excited to be working with the Stars for the next three years.

“It’s a club that has grown from August until now and there is so much more potential on and off the ice.”

Stars’ director Steve Ward said: “Omar has been a breath of fresh air to the club and his hard work and commitment has been admirable.
“He is passionate about growing this organisation and I could not be happier to have him lead the club in the coming years.”
