The show opens at Bon Papillon Howe Street on 30 Thursday 2017 at 5.00pm – all welcome for chat, art, wine (or juice) and Stuart’s usual excellent nibbles.
There will be a great collection of postcard sized original art in aid of charity ‘It’s Good 2 Give’.
Ingrid Nilsson of Bon Papillon said : ” We have been delighted to help Lynne McNicoll and her amazing team of volunteers in previous fundraising efforts, and with hanging artwork at the Ripple Retreat, which opened this year. Have a look at the website to see what a worthy cause this is! www.itsgood2give.co.uk
Its Good 2 Give’s Ripple Retreat which opened earlier this year
“Lynne has persuaded some of her celebrity supporters to donate pieces, so not only work by the finest of local and Scottish artists, but also some really unique pieces by the likes of Peter Capaldi and Lorraine Kelly! First come, first served on all the art, with all the proceeds going to the charity.
“Of course it is also ‘that time of year’ when I show off my work from the latter half of 2017, not quite such a worthy cause, but I hope to keep Bon Papillon running for another wee while yet, so hopefully that is good enough reason to invest in a ‘Nilsson’ original, print or calendar.”
Bon Papillon is open 9-4 Wednesday – Friday during the autumn season to sneak in some extra framing time, but they are open as usual 9-5 over the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday.
Over the holidays they will be closed for Christmas 24-27 December 2017.
You are invited to T 0131 538 2505 if you want to chat, enquire about art or framing, or anything else! (like the flavour of scones being served today….!)
